Google, Killing the Atmosphere One Cup of Tea at a Time

This article is claiming that computers and internet relates searches cause a large amount of the worlds greenhouse gas emissions. The estimation is that two internet searches on Google is equivalent to that of boiling a cup of water for tea. This claim is based on factual data that is calculated by physicists. This data is not based on the emissions from computers but the energy consumed by computers. As well as how much energy is required to facilitate Google’s 200 million internet search queries daily.
